Virtual Inspection and evaluation services are now available!
What is it?
Using your phone or mobile device, and a few basic items like a flashlight and a tape measure, you will have an experienced, licensed home inspector with you via zoom or facetime. You can show any areas of concern you might have with the home, and the inspector will also guide you to key areas and items in and around the home to provide you with basic information about major items like the foundation, heating system, electrical panel, plumbing type, roof and other areas.
Note that a virtual inspection / evaluation is NOT considered to be a full or partial Home Inspection, as defined by national professional organizations or by any state or other government or regulatory body. It is NOT a replacement for a full Home Inspection, which should still be done in person, and is recommended for any home purchase prior to closing or agreeing to close on a home purchase. A virtual inspection / evaluation has inherent limitations, and cannot guarantee that all possible issues in a home can be identified.
Who / what is it for?
- A potential home buyer who is looking at a house but has some questions and concerns prior to making an offer.
- A potential home buyer who wants to avoid wasting time on a house that may have too many problems or issues.
- A homeowner with an issue, problem or question about their house, who wants an experienced, objective opinion before calling a contractor.
- A homebuyer on their walkthrough prior to closing. This allows access to expertise of an inspector should questions or problems arise.
What is the cost? $95.00 for up to 30 minutes.
